Avatar brings us in a new spectacular world, above any imagination ,where a rebel hero, starts an epic adventure ,that in the end will see him struggling to save the world of Aliens, that he learned to call home. We enter this futuristic world through the eyes of Jake Sully, a wounded ex-marine living on a wheel-chair .Despite his wounded body ,Jake in his soul , is still a fighter. He has been selected to make a light years journey as human forward position to Pandora ,where corporate are extracting a rare mineral which is the answer to solve energy shortage problems on Earth. As the atmosphere on Pandora is toxic, they have created the Program “Avatar” with which the human pilots will join their consciousness to an avatar, an organic body supervised at distance ,who is able to survive despite the toxic air. These avatars are hybrid genetically modified from human DNA joint with Pandora natives DNA, the Na’vi. Jake was reborn in his new Avatar body and he can walk again. He has been assigned the mission to infiltrate in the Na’vi, who are now the most difficult obstacle to overcome to extract the precious mineral. But a wonderful Na’vi woman named Nevtiri will save Jake’s life and here it is a sensational development. She introduces Jake in the group and he learns to be one of them going through many proves and adventures. And so on the relationship between Jake and his rebel trainer Nevtiri becomes more deep , he learns to respect the Na’vi way of living and eventually finds his place among them. He will soon have to succeed the final test becoming their leader in an epic struggle that will result in the destiny of an entire world. The movie was considered by James Cameron , the Oscar winning director of “Titanic”, fifteen years ago , when still the technology to make those things possible did not exist yet. Now after four years of work , AVATAR, a live action movie with a new generation of special effects offers a unique motion- picture experience at 360° where the innovative technology especially created for the making of this film blends with the pure emotion of the characters, getting into the story.
