D4 Consumer shopping cart

A summary of the shopping cart content can be seen at any time on the right hand side of the screen. Information available are: first words of titles, number of copies and total amount in EUROS. Two links are available: “Details” to get more information on the content, and “Checkout” to start the purchase procedure.
The shopping cart can be reached also from the “Cart” icon in the top bar.

Clicking on “Add to cart” user will add items to shopping cart .
All selected items that are not bought, remain in the shopping cart even if user exit deastore.com pages or turn off the computer.
They will be available each time user get into deastore.com.

Clicking on the “Shopping cart” icon, at any time and from every page, it’s possible to check or modify the content. The column “Quantity” gives the number of copies of the same product to be ordered. This number can be modified, typing the correct amount in the corresponding box and clicking on “Update”. It’s not compulsory to buy all items in the cart; in fact it’s possible:
  • to remove items: checking the corresponding box near each title in the "Remove"column and clinking on “Update”
  • to move titles to the “Wish List” for future purchases.
Obviously, the price of those titles removed or moved to “Wish list” will not be summed in the order final amount. To buy an item from the “Wish List”, just move it again to the shopping cart checking the box near the title and clicking on “Add to cart”.

COOKIES
If your browser doesn’t not accept “cookies”, the checkout procedure from de shopping cart could not work properly as it has been based on the cookie system.

When adding a title to the “cart”, a “cookie” is recorded in you computer, to identify your buying session. If you are experiencing problems in adding titles to the shopping cart, send an e-mail to: customerservice@deastore.com with ‘cookies’ as subject and specify:
  1. type and version of the browser you are using (these information can be found in the browser “help” menu)
  2. the eventual error message.
