D2 The Consumer User: managing of the account
To access the “Consumer” account, click on “Account” on top right hand side of the screen.
Note: each time a user (both “Consumer” and "Business") will log into deastore.com (typing e-mail address and password) he will be taken to the Consumer account.
In this page there are all the tools to manage the Consumer account.
Order management
In this section it’s possible to:
- Check order status . the DEA OnLine service, available 24 hours a day, allows:
- to send queries to the DEA system for managing order, updated in real time
- to search for items ordered using different parameters: title, publisher, author, ISSN, customer ref. number, DEA reference number, shipping address;
- to sort results by each one of the above parameters
- to follow the order status in real time
- to claim for those items not yet delivered
- to check the statement of your account updated in real time
N.B. In the Customer Code field of the DEA OnLine typer your e-mail address. Password is the same of deastore.com.
Search management
In this section it’s possible:
- To manage the searches done (search history) is to say: see searches done, save, re-execute, cancel or combine them.
- Alerts management. It allows to enable the Alerts service, input the search parameters, modify the existing ones or disable the service..
Account management
In this section it is possible:
- to view customer personal data: iname and surname, company name, invoicing address (that is the same as the shipping address, unless differently stated), ZIP code, Country, e-mail address, phone number, fax, tax identification number, VAT number, your choice of receiving by e-mail order and shipment confirmations, request of cataloguing record in one of the format available (UNIMarc, Marc21, UKMarc, MAB, XML, Excel, TXT).
- to modify customer personal data: it is possible to modify any or all the above data
- to view shipping addresses: it’s possible to see the shipping addresses when different from the invoicing address.
- to change password
- NOTE*,: the feature to modify shipping address that allows to add or to change shipping addresses, is available only from the shopping cart page, in the sending order procedure.
Business users management
This section will appear only if the Consumer user is not member of any Business account: in this case the link: Send request to join a Business account will be available.
Clicking on it, user will be required to type the “Customer code”* of the Business account he wishes to join. The request will be sent to the “Administrator” of the Business account and user will be informed by e-mail about the result of the request. If it has been approved, user will get all information about how to use the Business account and he will able to access it using the same Login (e-mail address and password) of the Consumer account.
*The Customer code must be required to the Administrator of the Business account .
