Un documentario sulla boxe da parte di due esordienti nelle zone infide del lungometraggio ha di che rallegrare ed inquietare. Rallegrare per il coraggio di andarsene a Cuba ad indagare in contrade meno rivoltate ma certo a rischio folclore come quella del nostro fazzoletto, inquietare perché il pugilato al cinema è un campo nel quale molti, a cominciare naturalmente dagli americani, hanno fatto di tutto e, spesso, di ottimo. Fortunatamente, NOCAUT non è un documentario sulla boxe. L'interesse sta però nel sottofondo sociale, umano e politico che sottintende questa inchiesta approfondita e sensibile in un territorio delicato e in mutazione come quello cubano...
