Complete description
This volume brings together work by international scholars, including nationally renowned Korean scholars, to provide a unique analysis of the past, present and possible future trajectory of Korea's political economy from a distinctly Marxist perspective. A particular aim of the volume is to differentiate in a clear way the Marxian approach to the political economy of Korean development from the left Keynesian, social democratic approach that currently dominates the critical literature. In differentiating the Marxist approach, the volume argues for its superiority across key policymaking domains.
