   A book that not only gives a child more than just one unique word for each letter of the alphabet, but also gives a sweet uplifting message. The illustrations are absolutely perfect for the book and each message is significant, but written in a way that speaks to both the parent and the child. We've been giving this book to many of our friends with children/grandchildren and so far everyone loves it!

   I LOVE this ABC book, as does my 2 year old son! It's much more than your average ABC book though; it teaches one of life's little morals on each page, coupled with fantastic illustrations makes for excellent conversation with your child. It's a really great learning tool. I've been reading it with my son every (well almost every) night since he was 18 months and he's known the alphabet on sight since he was around 22 months! I highly recommend it for every child learning the alphabet, the encouragement in t

   This book is one that breaks the usual mold of ABC books and pleasantly so! It not only gets you from A to Z but does so in a way no other book has. With rhythm and rhymes,it uses an interesting vocabulary mix that teaches excellent morals, and reaches all audiences. ABC in Harmony promotes self-esteem in the child, respect for other children while touching on the current concerns for our environment, to bring this book full circle. Fantastic writing coupled with beautiful illustrations this book is a 'must have!'

   This book is for every child's bookshelf! What a delightful way to adopt positive thoughts while learning the alphabet! Lilting jingles and visual treats fill the pages of ABC in Harmony, its gentle reflection sure to draw smiling nods from the reader: child, caretaker, or educator alike.    I shared this ABC Book with my Grade 1/2 split class and they loved it! I have quite a few behaviour students in my class and I found the book had a calming effect on the class. They wanted to hear the book over and over again. The students reading in my class were anxious to sit down and read it themselves.It was great to witness this level of enthusiam in the children, as we well know enthusiasm is conducive for learning. It is a very well written ABC book with wonderful rhymes and also delivers positive messages to children. The illustrations are fabulous too!!

   This is an excellent and uplifting children's book. It takes alphabet learning to a new level by incorporating positive values that we try hard to teach our little ones, but sometimes miss the mark. The illustrations deliver the messages in colourful detail. Each page has you turning the page for more!

   We Love This Book! The touching, eloquent verse of this alphabet book makes it a must for every child's collection and a welcome new addition to every teacher's shelf of favourites.This is so much more than the standard "Tommy's toy truck" alphabet book. I was first introduced to "ABC in Harmony" when my young daughter was given the book as a gift and it soon became part of our daily reading ritual. The book is a beautiful piece of poetry that invites endless conversations about life. My daughter loved the book so much I bought a copy for my classroom, copies for expecting friends and this June we bought another copy for my daughter's teacher. Some books touch your heart and you want to share the author's wisdom ... this is one!

    I wish I had this book when my kids were little! The author gently flows through the ABC's with lovely illustrations that keep the little audience captive and words that inspire thought and emotion. I get to share this book with my nieces now and they love hearing it over and over again. I feel this book brings to mind what is most important in life and is an effective self-esteem booster!

    ABC in Harmony has helped nurture the virtues of courage, gentleness, caring and responsibility in our Montessori preschool class.The delicately coloured and detailed illustrations kindle a love of nature in the children.     I found a copy of this book while at the B.C.Sick Children's Hospital. How wonderful for the children in this hospital to have the opportunity to read this encouraging book. Every hospital that has a children's ward should have this inspiring book! This is by far the best ABC book ever written; a must have for every child. I highly recommend this book for all children in all settings. Its points of positive reinforcements while reading each letter's story is a delight! This is an alphabet book you will read over and over again. It is the perfect gift for a child. The illustrations are colorful and as each letter's story unfolds teaching life's lessons in such a positive caring manner you want to keep turning the pages. The author's talent for writing and altruistic nature shines through in her words and I look forward to her future books!

    This is not your everyday ABC book. It is a flavourful mix of personal and environmental stewardship without preaching. Engaging children with fun and unique rhymes and select words that will broaden a child's vocabulary. ABC in Harmony would be an asset to any early elementary or ESL classroom and excellent for anyone with young children~ parent, teacher, or caregiver!

    Our grade 1 and 2 students at Harry Sayers Elementary school love this book! Our grade 1's wrote about ways they could "Remember to be kind." This generated great classroom discussions regarding how the children can individually make the world a better place to live in. Our grade 2's wrote about ways they could "plant a happy seed" on Earth Day. So many positive messages here we can reinforce with all our kids. Touching on the importance of environmental stewardship was one of the values I particularly liked. A book also well suited for any schools out there who have adopted the Virtues Program. Enjoy!

    A very comprehensible, warm, gentle book to help learn the alphabet. The author has given the reader a fabulous gift. Read the book once and you get a great feeling. I bought several copies of this book to give as baby shower gifts and have two put away to give to my future grandchildren. Forget the grandchildren, I take the book out to read to myself! Its just that lovely and calming.
